Frequently asked questions

Got questions? I’ve got answers.

  • I offer virtual sessions, which gives you the flexibility to show up from wherever works best for you. All you need is a private, quiet space where you can feel comfortable talking.

  • Online therapy is designed to feel simple, comfortable, and very similar to meeting in person. Before each your first session you will receive a custom link to you that you can bookmark and use for every session.

Once we’re connected, we’ll talk face-to-face, just like we would in an office. Many clients are surprised by how natural it feels—and how quickly they’re able to settle in and open up.

  • I currently offer virtual sessions only, so you can access therapy from wherever you are in California or Idaho—without needing to commute or adjust your schedule around travel.

  • My fee is $225 for a 50-minute session. I am an out-of-network provider, and I take care of submitting claims on your behalf to help make the reimbursement process as simple and stress-free as possible.

  • First appointments can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to feel a little unsure about what to expect. My goal is to help you feel as comfortable as possible from the start.

We’ll begin by briefly reviewing your paperwork so everything is clear. Then, we’ll talk about what’s been bringing you in and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance—just come as you are. I’ll guide the conversation and help us ease into the process together.

  • There’s no set timeline for therapy—everyone’s needs and goals are different. Some people come for short-term support, while others choose to stay longer for deeper work.

We’ll check in along the way to make sure therapy is meeting your needs, and you’ll always have a say in how long you’d like to continue.

  • A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected cost of your care. Under federal law, you have the right to receive an estimate of your therapy fees if you’re not using insurance.

This helps you understand what to expect financially before we begin, so there are no surprises.
